Principal's Message

Welcome to Riverview, where the view is always Royal! 

At Riverview, we believe in the importance of being responsible, respectful and ready to learn each day. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our students and families, and we understand the importance of working together to support the growth and success of all of our students. 

School Hours: The doors open at 9:15am for breakfast, and instruction begins promptly at 9:30am. Dismissal begins at 4:00pm. If your child’s dismissal procedure needs to change, we will need a written note in the morning or a phone call by 12:00pm. 

 

Entry Procedures:  You MUST have a valid ID and be listed on the students Final Forms/Emergency Form to sign a student out. There are NO exceptions to this policy. When signing a student out early, we will only call them down to the office once you physically come into the office to sign them out with a valid ID.

Dismissal: If your student is a car rider, you must have your car rider tag displayed in your car window. If you do not have your car tag, you must park and come to the office and show ID for us to release your student. 

**If you have bussing needs or questions, please call the Transportation Office at 513-887-5060. 

Attendance: To report an absence please call 513-868-5650 and select option 1.  Parents must call the school in the event a student is absent or tardy.  Please call the school before 9:15 a.m. on the day of the absence.  If the attendance office is not notified by telephone or personal contact, the absences are considered unexcused.  Students must maintain at least a 93% attendance rate.  Parents may call into the attendance office to excuse up to six absences for the year.  After six parent calls, all absences must be verified with a doctor’s note to be excused from school.
