Principal's Message

Welcome to Riverview, where the view is always Royal!

I am proud to serve as Riverview’s principal and look forward to partnering with you in creating a supportive, engaging, and enriching educational experience for your children. At Riverview, we believe in the importance of being responsible, respectful, and ready to learn each day. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our students and families, and we understand the importance of working together to support the growth and success of all of our students.

School Hours: The doors open at 9:00 am for breakfast, and instruction begins promptly at 9:15 am. Dismissal begins at 3:45 pm. If your child’s dismissal procedure needs to change, we will need a written note to the teacher by 9:00 am or a phone call to the office by 12:00 pm. Please be sure to communicate these changes as early as possible so we can get your student to the appropriate dismissal spot. 

Lunches: All students at Riverview receive a free breakfast and lunch each day. Your students are also welcome to pack a lunch. (Please refrain from bringing in fast food for your students during their lunchtime.)

Attendance: To report an absence or tardy, please call (513) 868-5650 and select option 1. If you are not able to reach Ms. Fannin (attendance clerk), please leave a message with your child’s name, homeroom teacher, and reason for the absence on the voicemail. She will document this in the system. Please call in your student prior to 9:15 am to avoid the automated call from our system. If your student is ill, please provide a doctor’s note via email (sfannin@hcsdoh.org) or a paper copy to the office upon your child’s return to school. If you have any further questions regarding attendance, please contact our main office.
